Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
