Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter, 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 They slept little in the night, 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 There are signs in the earth for those who are firm in their faith, 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 There is in the heavens your sustenance, and whatever has been promised you. 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23
