The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned? 1 Indeed We have created man from mixed semen; in order to test him – We therefore made him hearing, knowing. 2 Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving. 3 Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers manacles and carcans and a raging fire. 4 Surely the righteous shall drink of a cup the admixture of which is camphor 5 From a fountain whence the bondmen of Allah will drink, causing it to gush abundantly. 6 These will be the ones who fulfil their vows and dread the Day whose woe shall be spread far and wide; 7 and who give food - however great be their own want of it - unto the needy, and the orphan, and the captive, 8 (Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks. 9 we fear from our Lord a Day that shall be long and distressful.” 10 So God will protect them from the evil of that day, and grant them happiness and joy, 11 And hath awarded them for all that they endured, a Garden and silk attire; 12 In that [garden] they will on couches recline, and will know therein neither [burning] sun nor cold severe, 13 near them shall be its shades, and its clusters hung meekly down, 14 and there shall be passed around them vessels of silver, and goblets of crystal, 15 Glass made from silver, which the servers have filled up to the measure. 16 And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil,- 17 (Of) a fountain therein which is named Salsabil. 18 ۞ Immortal youths shall surround them, waiting upon them; when you see them, you would think they are scattered pearls. 19 If you were to see it, you would find it to be a great kingdom with great bounty. 20 Their garments will be of fine green silk, and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink. 21 This is your reward. Your endeavour is fully acknowledged. 22

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
