He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 You never know. Perhaps he wanted to purify himself, 3 Or be admonished, and the admonition profit him? 4 As for he who thinks himself without need, 5 Unto him thou attendest. 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 and who has fear of God, 9 You neglect. 10 These verses are a reminder 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 On honourable pages. 13 Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 From what did He create him? 18 He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again). 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 And We split the earth in fragments, 26 to yield therein corn, 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 And Olives and Dates, 29 and dense orchards, 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry comes, 33 Man will fly from his brother, 34 and from his mother and father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 And some faces will on that Day with dust be covered, 40 with darkness overspread: 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
