The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 By heaven of the returning rain, 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. 13 not a flippant jest. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
