We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
