۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
