Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the midday brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
