And recite to them the news of Abraham. 69 when he said to his father and his people, 'What do you serve?' 70 They said: We worship idols, and are ever devoted unto them. 71 He said: Do they hear you when you call? 72 Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?" 73 They said: nay; but we found our fathers doing in this wise. 74 He said: Have you then considered what you have been worshipping: 75 you and your forefathers -- 76 are my enemies? Not so the Lord of the Universe. 77 who created me, and Himself guides me, 78 “And the One Who feeds me and gives me to drink.” 79 and heals me when I am sick. 80 Who will make me die, then give me life again, 81 and whom I am eager shall forgive me my sins on the Day of Recompense' 82 O Lord, give me wisdom and admit me among the righteous, 83 And grant me an honourable mention in later generations; 84 And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. 85 And forgive my father, for surely he is of those who have gone astray; 86 And do not disgrace me on the day when they are raised from the graves, 87 The Day when neither wealth nor sons shall benefit 88 [and when] only he [will be happy] who comes before God with a heart free of evil!" 89 On the Day of Judgment Paradise will be brought near the pious 90 And the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the erring. 91 And it will be said to them: "Where are those (the false gods whom you used to set up as rivals with Allah) that you used to worship 92 besides God? Will the idols help you? Can they help themselves?" 93 Thereupon they will be hurled into hell - they, as well as all [others] who had been lost in grievous error, 94 And the hosts of Iblis all together. 95 They shall say, as they dispute there one with another, 96 “By oath of Allah, we were indeed in open error.” 97 "'When we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds; 98 And none but the guilty led us astray; 99 And now we have none to intercede for us, 100 Nor a true friend; 101 “So if only were we to go back, in order to become Muslims!” 102 Verily herein is a sign, but most of them are not believers. 103 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
