Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 But how are you to know? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
