▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are watching at that time 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
