Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On a right way. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
