And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
