Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
