Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble scribes 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
