Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 Let the human reflect of what he is created. 5 he was created of gushing water 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil). 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
