We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
