Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 (If they are truthful in this), then let them produce a discourse of similar splendour. 34 [Or do they deny the existence of God?] Have they themselves been created without anything [that might have caused their creation]? or were they, perchance, their own creators? 35 Or have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact they are certain of nothing. 36 [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer's treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]? 37 Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest! 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they become weighed down in debt? 40 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is almost within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 41 Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan. 42 Do they have any god other than Allah? Exalted be Allah above whatever they associate (with Him in His Divinity). 43 And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up." 44 So leave them alone until they face the day when they will be struck dead from terror 45 The Day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 36]. 47 And wait thou patiently the judgment of thy Lord; verily thou art before Our eyes; and hallow the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest. 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
