۞ There are many angels in the heavens whose intercession will be of no benefit unless God grants such permission to whichever of them He wants. 26 Behold, it is [only] such as do not [really] believe in the life to come that regard the angels as female beings; 27 They have not any knowledge thereof; they follow only surmise, and surmise avails naught against truth. 28 Wherefore withdraw thou from him who turneth away from Our admonition and seeketh not but the life of the world. 29 That is their highest point of knowledge. Verily thine Lord! it is He Who is the Best Knower of him who strayeth from His way, and He is the Best Knower of him who letteth himself be guided. 30 To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. In the end God will re-compense the evil doers for their deeds and reward the righteous ones for their deeds. 31 Those who keep aloof from the great sins and the indecencies but the passing idea; surely your Lord is liberal in forgiving. He knows you best when He brings you forth from the earth and when you are embryos in the wombs of your mothers; therefore do not attribute purity to your souls; He knows him best who guards (against evil). 32
