Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
