Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the loosed ones successively 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
