The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 Have fear of God and obey me. 163 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 Leaving the consorts your Lord has made for you? But you are a people who exceed the bounds." 166 They said: If you desist not, O Lut! you shall surely be of those who are expelled. 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do." 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 then We destroyed the others. 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Surely in this there is a sign: but most of them would not believe: 174 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 175
