The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 Have fear of God and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 And guard against (the punishment of) Him who created you and the former nations. 184 They said: "Surely you are deluded. 185 Thou art but a mortal like us, and lo! we deem thee of the liars. 186 So cause a piece of the sky to fall upon us if you are truthful." 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful. 191
