O Prophet, say to thy wives and daughters and the believing women, that they draw their veils close to them; so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is a sickness, and the scandal mongers in Madinah do not desist from their vile acts, We shall urge you to take action against them, and then they will hardly be able to stay in the city with you. 60 cursed they shalt be, and wheresoever they are come upon they shall be seized and slaughtered all -- 61 Such has been the way of Allah with those who have passed before them, and you shall find no change in the ways of Allah. 62 Men ask thee of the Hour. Say: The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What can convey (the knowledge) unto thee? It may be that the Hour is nigh. 63 Lo! Allah hath cursed the disbelievers, and hath prepared for them a flaming fire, 64 To dwell therein for ever: no protector will they find, nor helper. 65 On the Day when their faces shall be tossed about in the fire, they will exclaim, "Oh, would that we had paid heed unto God, and paid heed unto the Apostle!" 66 And they shall say: 'Our Lord, We obeyed our masters and our eminent ones, but they misled us from the way. 67 Lord, make them to suffer double torment and subject them to the greatest condemnation." 68
