The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven bursts asunder, 1 And obeys its Lord and it must. 2 and when the earth is leveled, 3 And shall cast forth that which is therein, and shall become empty. 4 And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] - 5 O man, you have to strive and go on striving towards your Lord, then will you meet Him. 6 Then whoso is given his account in his right hand 7 Soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning, 8 And return to his people in happiness. 9 But as for he who is given his record behind his back, 10 He shall call for perdition, 11 And he shall roast into a Blaze. 12 Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness; 13 thinking he would never revert (to Us). 14 Yea indeed! His Sustainer did see all that was in him! 15 So I do call to witness the ruddy glow of Sunset; 16 and by the night and what it enfolds, 17 And by the moon when she is at the full, 18 you shall surely ride stage after stage. 19 What is the matter with them that they do not accept faith? 20 And when the Qur'an is recited to them do not bow in adoration? ۩ 21 Yea those who disbelieve belie. 22 And Allah well knows what they conceal in their hearts. 23 So give them tidings of a painful doom, 24 But those who believe and work righteous works, theirs shall be a hire unending. 25
Almighty God's Truth.
