The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
