Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
