The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
