A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). 39 And a multitude from the later generations. 40 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 41 [They will find themselves] in the midst of scorching winds, and burning despair, 42 and under the shadow of black smoke, 43 Nothing (will there be) to refresh, nor to please: 44 Verily, before that, they indulged in luxury, 45 And they used to persist in the great violation, 46 And they used to say, “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we surely be raised again?” 47 And our forefathers [as well]?" 48 Say: 'Those of ancient times and those of later times 49 Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day." 50 "Then moreover, verily, you the erring-ones, the deniers (of Resurrection)! 51 Ye verily will eat of a tree called Zaqqum 52 Fill your bellies with it, 53 And thereon ye will drink of boiling water, 54 "Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!" 55 Such will be their dwelling on the Day of Judgment. 56 We have created you, why do you not then assent? 57 Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit. 58 Do you make a human out of it, or is it We Who create? 59 It was We who decreed death among you. We will not be surpassed 60 in replacing you with another creation like you, changing you into a form which you do not know. 61 You have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not take heed? 62 Have you ever considered the seed which you cast upon the soil? 63 Is it you who cultivate it, or is it We Who develop it? 64 If We pleased, We should have certainly made it broken down into pieces, then would you begin to lament: 65 (Saying): "We are indeed Mughramun (i.e. ruined or lost the money without any profit, or punished by the loss of all that we spend for cultivation, etc.)! [See Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 17, Page 219] 66 nay, we have been robbed!' 67 Behold! the water which ye drink: 68 Is it ye who shed it from the raincloud, or are We the Shedder? 69 If We will We can make it bitter, so why do you not give thanks? 70 Tell Me! The fire which you kindle, 71 Was it ye who made the tree thereof to grow, or were We the grower? 72 We have made it a memorial (of Our handiwork), and an article of comfort and convenience for the denizens of deserts. 73 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 74

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
