The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
