The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
