۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
