So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
