This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 upon thy heart, that thou mayest be one of the warners, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter into the hearts of the guilty. 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 and then they will exclaim, "Could we have a respite?" 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 of what avail will be the provisions of life which they have been granted to enjoy? 207 And never did We destroy a township which did not have Heralds of warning, - 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 And spread your wing of mercy for the believers following you. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 217 Who watches you when you get up, 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, the erring follow them. 224 Have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
