Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
