Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
