So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 Doth every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Delight? 38 Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. 39 Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly- 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 Then leave them alone to plunge and play until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised, 42 the day they shall come forth from the tombs hastily, as if they were hurrying unto a waymark, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
