The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
