(Muhammad), they will ask you about the mountains. Tell them, "My Lord will grind them to powder 105 “Therefore leaving the earth just as an empty plain.” 106 with neither hollows nor upthrust mounds to be seen. 107 That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. 108 On that day no one’s intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 109 He (Allah) knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them (in the Hereafter), and they will never compass anything of His Knowledge. 110 ۞ And the faces shall be humbled before the Living, the Self-subsistent Allah, and he who bears iniquity is indeed a failure. 111 And whosoever worketh of the righteous works, and is a believer, he will not fear wrong or begrudging 112 We have thus sent down the Quran in Arabic and given all kinds of warnings in it, so that they may fear God, or may take heed -- 113 Then exalted be Allah, the True King! And hasten not (O Muhammad) with the Qur'an ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee, and say: My Lord! Increase me in knowledge. 114 And verily We made a covenant of old with Adam, but he forgot, and We found no constancy in him. 115
