The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 By the angels driving away. 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
