The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 and a few from later times. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining face to face. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 And shade extended 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And couches raised up. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
