The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
