The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
