▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 With spreading branches. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
