Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
