The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
