And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know. 101 Say: "Holy inspiration has brought it down from thy Sustainer by stages, setting forth the truth, so that it might give firmness unto those who have attained to faith, and provide guidance and a glad tiding unto all who have surrendered themselves to God." 102 Yet We know what they say: "It is only a man who instructs him." The speech of the man they imply is obscure while this is clear Arabic. 103 Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah – Allah does not guide them, and for them is a punishment, most painful. 104 They only forge falsehood, who believe not in the signs of God, and those -- they are the liars. 105 No one verbally denounces his faith in God - unless he is forced - but his heart is confident about his faith. But those whose breasts have become open to disbelief will be subject to the wrath of God and will suffer a great torment. 106 That is because they loved this present life above the Everlasting Life. Allah does not guide the unbelievers. 107 They are the ones whose hearts and ears and eyes have been sealed by God; and these are the heedless. 108 No doubt, in the Hereafter, they will be the losers. 109 ۞ Then lo! thy Lord - for those who became fugitives after they had been persecuted, and then fought and were steadfast - lo! thy Lord afterward is (for them) indeed Forgiving, Merciful. 110
