Al-Suff 2 of 2
O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment? 10 You shall believe in Allah and His Apostle, and struggle hard in Allah's way with your property and your lives; that is better for you, did you but know! 11 He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment. 12 and other things you love, help from God and a nigh victory. Give thou good tidings to the believers! 13 Believers, be the helpers of Allah. When (Prophet) Jesus, the son of Mary said to the disciples: 'Who will be my helpers unto Allah' The disciples replied: 'We will be the helpers of Allah' A party of the Children of Israel believed, and a party disbelieved. So, We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they overcame. 14
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Column (Al-Suff). Sent down in Medina after Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun) before Friday (Al-Jumu'ah)
