Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 noble, writers 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
