The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
